Information & Policies 

Bookings and Changing Appointments

For any changes or cancellations to your appointment, please contact the salon on 0466 565 666 at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. For all appointments valued $100 and over, we require a card to be held on file and a $50 non-refundable deposit to secure your booking. If you reschedule or cancel with more than 24 hours’ notice your $50 deposit will be rolled over to secure your next appointment. If you no-show or cancel within the 24-hour window your deposit will be forfeit and your card on file will be charged 50 per cent of your total appointment fee. 

 

Please note if you fail to attend an appointment on two or more occasions without notice, we will require the full treatment amount to be paid at the time of booking for any future appointments.

Arrival
 

We ask our clients to arrive at least 5 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment time. We do our best to accommodate, however if you are fifteen minutes or more late for your appointment we may shorten or cancel your appointment and the full scheduled appointment fee may still apply.

Age Requirements


For the comfort of our clients we require all clients under the age of 16 to be accompanied by an adult guardian. We encourage you to take the time to treat yourself without any possible distractions, however we are a family friendly salon. Please let our team know if you will be bringing any children along to your appointment at the time of booking so we can ensure other clients will not be affected.

Tanning Preparation
 

Skin preparation is one of the most important aspects for achieving perfect results. To prepare for spray tan, exfoliate your skin well in the days leading up to your appointment and carry out any hair removal prior to your spray tan. On arrival to your appointment please ensure that you are not wearing deodorant, perfume or moisturiser. Dark loose clothing is recommended to be worn after your tan.

Treatment and Preparation
 

For all Makeup/Lash Treatments, please arrive without eye or face makeup on.  

For polish pedicures, please ensure you wear open toe shoes, as polish can take some time to fully cure. 

Male facials, we recommend shaving twenty four hours before scheduled treatment.

The Beauty Room aims to deliver exceptional customer service and customer care. We enjoy a positive, professional and loving environment.  We kindly ask that you respect our staff, policies and other clients. Please note that entry to The Beauty Room and appointments are at our discretion.

Comfort and Preferences 

Things like massage pressure, room temperature, pillows, conversation level, and lighting vary according to your individual preference, so please let our team know if you have any specific requirements. Our therapists are trained to respect your comfort and privacy.

Gift Vouchers 
 

Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Vouchers can be redeemed for the nominated treatment or dollar amount used towards treatment of choice. When booking please advise that you will be redeeming a Voucher, and present it on arrival for treatment

Please keep your Voucher safe as they cannot be replaced or reissued if lost or stolen. Vouchers are treated like cash.

 

Vouchers are not redeemable for cash. Lost or stolen Vouchers will not be replaced or refunded. Vouchers cannot be cancelled. Vouchers are needed in-store to be redeemed. Payment is required if Voucher is not present and will be refunded once Voucher has been brought into The Beauty Room. Vouchers will be valid for 12 months from the date of issue (or as otherwise extended by us), after such time it will be invalid. You should use all of the remaining Voucher value before the expiry date, as after the expiry date any unused value will become the property of The Beauty Room.

Health

Prior to any treatment, please complete our consultation forms to disclose your medical history, including any medical conditions, pre existing injuries, infectious diseases, skin conditions, allergies, and pregnancy. 

If your conditions have changed since completing your form, please advise our team prior to your next appointment to allow us time for the necessary adjustments.

Refunds and Exchanges
 

We do not provide refund or exchange on retail products or gift vouchers for change of mind or sale items.

Under the Australian Consumer Law, The Beauty Room will provide a refund or replacement for a major problem with a product covered by consumer guarantees

The Beauty Room is not a medical facility and cannot provide advice regarding the suitability or appropriateness of any treatments for any medical conditions or compatibility with a prescription or professionally administered medications. 

Any information provided by The Beauty Room employees should not be accepted as a substitute for professional medical advice. The Beauty Room can refuse to provide a treatment if we deem that any medical condition may cause harm to yourself, staff or other clients. 

You release The Beauty Room, its employees, agents and third party providers from any responsibility and liability for any death, injury, loss, delay, inconvenience or damage caused by the treatment; even if you provide medical clearance allowing for the treatment, or if you misrepresent or fail to disclose your medical conditions to The Beauty Room.

Use Of Products
 

Upon purchase of products, the buyer agrees to use the products only for their intended purpose and strictly in accordance with their instructions, precautions and guidelines. Any other use will cause the buyer to assume full responsibility for any loss or damage arising out of their use. Questions as to use can be directed to holly@thebeautyroomgroup.com.au

You should always check the ingredients for products to avoid potential allergic reactions. If any minor uses any product purchased through the site it should be only after the parent or legal guardian has discussed the product with the minor’s doctor.

Delivery and Dispatch 
 

We offer two different methods of shipping. 

Standard Delivery: $10 or FREE on orders over $120 (Metro 3-4 business days) (Regional 5 – 7 business days)
 

Express Post: $12 or FREE on orders over $150 (Metro 1-2 business days) (Regional Please allow an additional 1-2 business days)
 

* All orders placed before 12pm AEST Monday – Friday will be dispatched on the same day.

* If you place an order over a weekend or on a public holiday it will be processed and sent out the next business day (Monday – Friday).

* Please note: Shipping times are a guideline and subject to change. You may experience slightly longer delivery times during peak periods or due to unforeseen circumstances that are out of the control of The Beauty Room. Online orders are processed and shipped from Melbourne, Victoria so we follow any Victorian Public Holidays.

Online Payments
 

We accept VISA, Mastercard and Afterpay.
Please note that there is a maximum order value of $1000 with Afterpay.
We also accept Gift Vouchers in store.

Our online payment option allows you to use your Credit Card or Debit Card.  We use a trusted, safe and secure payment gateway. At The Beauty Room, your security while shopping with us online is a priority. As such we have taken all reasonable measures to ensure a secure online purchase environment using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption, so that your personal and payment details are kept safe at all times. To verify you are on a secure page look for a padlock icon in your browser address bar, this verifies the authenticity and integrity of our website security.

Please be aware we do not store your credit card information.  When you have finalised your card payment, we will immediately receive notification and will be able to process your order promptly.
